The Finca Antigua Viura Sobre Lﾨﾪas is made from from 100% estate Viura grapes, grown at 2700 ft above sea level and sourced from a single plot named, ﾡﾰEl Palomarﾡﾱ. This wine is fermented at low temperatures and with skin contact to preserve and enhance the brilliant fruit and floral aromas of the Viura variety. Five months ageing sur-lie (Sobre Lﾨﾪas) adds further to the body and complexity of the wine. A wonderful lemon yellow in colour this wine offers intense aromas of apricot, peach, pear, fennel and those characteristic of white flowers (camomile, jasmine). Reminiscent of recently-cut hay and with light hints of smoke. The palate opens up with a silky, velvety mouthfeel that unfolds to a full body with backbone.
