Domaine du Vieux Tﾨﾦlﾨﾦgraphe has been run by the Brunier family for five generations, and since 1891. The estateﾡﾯs vineyards are situated on the famous ﾡﾰPlateau de la Crauﾡﾱ, the stony terrace where there is nothing but ﾡﾰgalets roulﾨﾦsﾡﾱ, or rounded stones, as far as the eye can see. The Vieux Tﾨﾦlﾨﾦgraphe Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a?blend of Clairette (40%), Grenache Blanc (25%), Roussane (25%) and Bourboulenc (10%) grapes that are hand-picked, with double sorting at the vine, then a third sorting at the winery. Fermented in a combination of barriques, demi-muids and 30 hl foudres the wine is matured on the lees in barriques, demimuids and 30 hl foudres and bottled at one year. This is a member of the classic school of white Chateauneuf-du-Pape: more floral than fruity aromas, and characterised by balance and freshness.
