Guado al Tasso Scalabrone Rosato di Bolgheri is a rosﾨﾦ style wine blended from three grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The vineyard, as well as the wine, takes its name from a bandit named ﾡﾰScalabroneﾡﾱ who roamed the Bolgheri area in the early 1800ﾡﾯs, a local Robin Hood who raided the ships in Bolgheriﾡﾯs old canal harbour. Scalabrone is light peony pink in colour. On the nose fragrant notes of red fruit and light aromas of ripe yellow fruit complete its bouquet.
