Lanzaga Rioja is the village wine of Bodega Lanzaga, made from a selection of the best Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano grapes grown on the estates own organic vineyards. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented in cement tanks, before ageing in a combination of large and small oak barriques (up to 25hl) for up to 14 months. The result is a rich and complex Rioja with subtle floral notes and sweet oak spices and a very well-defined dark forest fruit core. The elegance is matched by a very structured and defined palate, with powerful yet round tannins, well integrated alcohol, and a persistent finish.
