The vines were planted in 1992 and sit at an altitude of 980 metres which creates a climate that enables the vibrant aromatic character of Cabernet Franc to thrive. Matured for 12 months in French oak this Cabernet Franc is deep ruby in colour, with an intense aroma of roasted pepper, eucalyptus and tobacco with black plum and blueberry character. To begin the palate is sweet and smooth, with round and ripe tannins, then succulent blue fruits continue to develop with well integrated spice notes that endure on the long succulent finish.
