The Corralillo Garnacha is a relatively new red wine addition to the Matetic portfolio. The organic grapes for this wine are sourced from Matetic's 'Santo Tomﾨﾢs' vineyard in the Casablanca Valley, a terroir with a coastal climate and granite soil, ideal for achieving a fresh and elegant style of Grenache. At the winery, after fermentation the wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels (2nd to 4th use). The wine is ruby red in colour and the nose is fresh and herbal, with notes of raspberries and fresh cherries, as well as an earthy and mineral touch.
